an amazing day

it all started on thurs. after having the 206 quiz on wed, and having had to rush home after tat to study for my consolidation quiz on thurs..i was totally in a bad mood. esp when i was studying half-heartedly on thurs nite, and half of me was feeling super guilty when i slept at 10. so after all these... i was v tired and..skipped my 206 class on fri morn. Really feel guilty esp when my daddy will b sending me there. but then..i have a great reason for not being there. 1) the presentation is boring..it will b on some assumption for BAV; 2) i have a field trip to supreme court, and if i had gone for class, i will b late, unless i take a cab down. so..yupz! the 1st highlight of the day:

the supreme court fieldtrip. it was REALLY FUN! firstly, we had the talk by the mediation centre. the guy was rather gay, but, honestly..he cld really articulate well and the entire session was enjoyable. i was rather enticed to join the workshop to become an associate mediator. but..i guess i'll only do it when im slightly older and richer. after tat..we had a nice lunch, whereby it was the first time sitting with my negotiation classmates for a meal. every1 was very nice. and it was great talking to the exchange student. and..the next highlight. the tour of the supreme court. i love the technology court, where..its sooo..HIGH TECH! and..the place looks super cool and..looks unlike all the courts in hk drama. and..we get to go up to the dome (the UFO looking disc) and..it overlooks the cbd area. its confirm a nice place to hang out at, have a drink and juz talk abt anything under the sky (literally). and..the 3rd highlight..the court of appeal. we got to sit in at the hearing at the court of appeal. man..it was a lil disappointing, coz the defendant lawyer was fumbling with words, but..oh my! the chief justice looks so..fatherly. esp when he took off his glasses whenever the lawyer referred to a certain page of the document, and he will try to read the words. and the main disappointment was having to leave after 10min.

and 1 highlight was i bought this v cool mascara. its waterproof, but u dun have to use makeup remover to remove it. warm water will do the trick. hahaz! so good! usu when i use makeup remover, most of it will juz end up in my eyes, and mascara still remains on my lashes. so..yupz! a good buy.

the next highlight was to meet lia. oh my! it is the 1st time during this sem. i cant believe it. but it was really nice to chill at pacific coffee. its no wonder chilling over coffee is my fav pastime. having the luxury to juz sit at the cafe, stone, or complain abt our life (or rather..the lack of life), and nt caring abt whether there's tut to complete or tests coming up.

and after tat..had the mas dinner. it was fun. but..ya..the networking made it a lil superficial. but..yupz! had great fun talking to some nice ple, and..meeting many ple frm ntu.

overall..its a great day. finished 2 tests, had the great supreme court fieldtrip, meeting up with lia, and the mas dinner.
