8.5 years ago in the long ago year 1999, 6 of us met in this club called Interact Club. That year was probably the worst year for Interact Club, for they had only 6 recruitment. If any1 had saw band, or CO's recruitment, 6 is really pittance. But..I guess, coz of the "limited edition" feeling, we became really really close. We had much fun, especially during every year's Installation and IU Projects, coz we had to prepare everything ourselves (including food, when once, we almost blew up Huiyian's house and had to return to her hse at night to help her clean up the soot from her ceiling and to brave the music from her parents, who surprisingly just let us off with a few words). There were other jokes..hahaz! and lots of memories that accompany whenever we meet every year. (6 times every year).
Today, I met them for the 20th Installation, supposedly for the Installation, BUT!! as usual, they are late. Dun noe when it became our culture. But I rem during meetings in the past, we are always late. Whenever we are having our committee meetings, we tend to need to set a very EARLY time, and in the end, we'll alwayz be just in time for the regular club meetings. hahaz! I really do try to make it a habit. But, hahaz..its really hard to translate from interact meetings and regular frenz meetings. So my frenz do have to forgive me when im late. Enough about punctuality. hahaz...
It was fun..(especially while having lunch at the Kim Gary Hong Kong Restaurant at Vivo..well..the place has nice scenary, u get to see the merlion, but, I guess the portion is too big..and the food, well...its alright.) hahaz..and we recounted the past.
HY...forever remembered for her broccoli incident (8 years ago) and beansprout incident at pepper lunch. These incidents NEVER fail to be mentioned in our outings for 8.5 years. Amazing. hahaz!
YS...shez so CUTE!! hahaz..n she really behaves like li lao shi these days. And her chinese is Boombastic! and..I'll rem how she Chi-Ba-BOOOM the NY Gals...bet they flipped and died.
BX...hahaz..the forever organiser. She has organised so many outings..and her patience and determination is appluadable. How can 1 have the will to go on organising, when several outings never really do materialise. Salute!
WT..shes still as wacky as ever. hahaz! Might see her in the Force next time.
XH..my neighbour, pri sch classmate, sec sch classmate, Uni mate, and yet..hahaz..we seldom see each other. Goodness! My estate must b REALLLLY Big. (But anw..I also nv see Fan Huiyi who stays across my street too!)
Oach..haiz..it was nice when such memories return..but..does it prove that im getting older..For, isn't it old ladies who will sit on their rocking chair, with a cat near their feet, and a foto album on their lap and they will flip the album, and at the same time, think and reminisce abt the past??
Anw, here are some fotos on the NEW RV, at the old SAJC compound. Its really a weird place, coz, from Pic 1, u can see some squatters, and in Pic 2, u see nice buildings, and nt so clearly, PSA building. How weird a place to find in Singapore.
Even weird-er is Pic 3. hahaz! RV is truly EGO! There is numerous such fotos pasted, plasted in fact, on the tables in the canteen! YES! canteen. Imagine eating with such pictures. N I guess healthy eating and living is the hype there, coz all around, they have nutritional chart, tips on eating healthily, and exercise tips. Haiz! Wad a spoiler when u r eating. hahaz!

it's all the work of a teacher named mrs chew hwee..
she banned all the snacks from the sch canteen, fried food on only one day of the week, and pasted those nutritional stuff all around..
believe me, we didn't ask for it. HAHA XD
