work part 2

its officially my 15th day as a gainfully employed OFFICE LADY, a public serving regulator and..OMG i have to say..i love my job.

having endured crap during internship, im really glad that i found something that i like. like..i guess im really really lucky!

much can be attributable to the fact that:
1) i can fully appreciate the importance of the company. HEY! we are THE bank. THE central bank. so its like..i can appreciate the fact that what i do is for the public and not just for some individuals' wealth.

2) i get the kick out of irritating people like..ermz..uncle. met him for lunch coz he was auditing gic. GIC. and..i happily, zhuai-ly, announce that GIC is JUST one of OUR brokers. hahaha! ok..too zhuai.

3) its totally related to law, which i discovered is my new and latest faze.

4) colleagues are..HMM..not exactly friendly, like..we don't hang out, or joke like school kids, but HEY! they are nice. like yn actually asked me to go for tea break with her n some other colleagues (in the midst of work, so its like..unofficial tea break)

5) the culture is relaxing and flexible. i dont need to be desk bound all the time, in the sense that i can walk around, come back late from lunch (and make a special trip to the 6th flr or the 8th flr for some table soccer) and..yupz! as long as i complete my work, i dont really got to do OT. just OTOT. no pressure to act busy.

6) the other TOs r nice. xinli, leo, liyu, and the likes are all v nice. and i met some people who are equally if not MORE lame than me. like that joseph guy i met. OMG! lame lame lame.

7) well..just the thought that my education may be sponsored cheers me up greatly

but..hmm..work has its down side too. got to wake up early, cant exactly take naps, got to do lots of readings, esp on topics i dont like...

YET..im happy i found a job. :)
